Education to Employment ProgrammeAs many of you know, this programme of work is designed to help address labour shortages in our valley and help our young people into local employment. Huge thanks to the local businesses who are already involved by offering work experience to local young people, apprenticeship opportunities, or hosted site visits or have volunteered to speak to students at local schools. If you'd like to get involved and promote your company while helping Y11-13 students learn about the real world of work, you

New Programme for Young People from Chamber Member, Future LeadersHelp is available for young people aged between 16-21 who have had their education negatively impacted by COVID-19. Take a look at the Akonga Pathway Programme operating in Wellington and the Wairarapa, operated by Future Leaders. This programme has rolling enrolments for students to enrol at any time of the year.
