Hi Fantastic to be back at the office at level 2, albeit a more challenging level 2 for business than last year. The new "Delta Level 2" has a number of changes. Here are the latest guidelines for business. Here at the Chamber we are not immune to the challenges that COVID-19 brings. Some of our events have been postponed or cancelled due to the alert level changes. Unfortunately this year's Wellington Region Business Excellence Awards is one of these and has been cancelled for
2021. You can read the press release here. On a brighter note, our team will be back in the office this Monday, 13 September and we look forward to catching up with many of you in person sometime soon.

Shipping Advice from Gold Partner, 360 LogisticsWe had this story ready to share with you last month (prior to lockdown), so while it's a little old now, it's still a highly useful update if you are an exporter/importer.
If you talk to any forwarder in the world right now, nobody has seen it this bad. Ever. We caught up with Priya Sharma from 360 Logistics to ask her what’s happening behind the scenes and when we can expect things to improve. Read the full story here.
It is certainly a challenging time for many businesses right now and we'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that your Chamber is here to advocate on your behalf. We will have our next quarterly Business Confidence Survey out soon and we do hope you can spare just 10 minutes to take part when the time comes. We read all responses and provide your anonymous feedback to local and central government to advocate on behalf of all business.
Huge thanks to all our Members and Partners for supporting us as we keep you all informed navigating these COVID-19 times. Keep an eye on our events page for more opportunities to meet up in person. - Mark Skelly and the Chamber Team
