Advocating for Hutt Valley Business
Sourcing new industrial space across the Hutt Valley is a serious challenge for our manufacturing and technology sector. With global supply issues continuing to worsen and expected to do so for the foreseeable future, local manufacturing is even more crucial to our economy.
Based on our research, the Chamber is raising the profile of the needs of the manufacturing sector by advocating strongly for local and central government to ensure spatial planning in our regions and cities includes the needs of this sector.
The Chamber has been driving considerable media coverage for this issue, with numerous stories across national and local press, including a front page story in this month's NZ Manufacturer and recently in the Dominion Post, stuff and The Hutt News. The Hutt Valley Chamber is leading the way in drawing attention to the needs of local business. Read the story here.
