New Instructor and Class Alert!Join our newest instructor Rosann Parrinello to work on your hand embroidery skills! Her currently scheduled classes are Hand Embroidery Basics and Cozy Quilters Christmas Tree Class, both offered in June. Hand embroidery is a relaxing and machine-free way to keep stitching, especially when traveling this summer. Instructor and author Michael Caputo would love to teach you the Orbie Quilt! Choose from two dates for this class - one in June and one in July, and register now! Renisha Battle would love to share the evening with you and your favorite younger sewist for a Mommy and Me Peplum Class on Friday, 5/31. Nanette Zeller has a couple of really fun new classes to offer this summer. Enhance your "picking" skills with Color Theory Class, and show your love for everyone best friends when you Thread Sketch your Pet! Christine Hager-Braun is our resident expert in teaching you how to quilt with your sewing machine. She has been teaching classes with us since we opened our doors! Her upcoming classes include Free Motion Quilting and Quilting with a Walking Foot. Choose from several dates and times, to fit your schedule! Rosi Hanley also keeps a full list of classes, with many dates to choose from. Learn a variety of techniques from Rosi in her classes. Maybe you'd like a machine appliqué refresher ahead of Row by Row this summer! Rosi also teaches a popular t-shirt quilt class. Look for Mystery Quilt clubs from Rosi at the start of each year - they are always wonderful! Kim Zebrowski is our Class Coordinator and has a full schedule of classes for you! From technique classes to project classes, Kim will encourage you with a guaranteed smile and a bunch of laughter as you perfect your skills and create beautiful things! Kathie Stein has a couple of really fun no-sew classes on our calendar. Join her in June for Painting on Fabric (pictured here). In September, she invites you to dye your own fabric in two back-to-back classes. Join visiting artist Annie Smith for Aurifil Thread Matters in August, as she takes you through stitching with each Aurifil thread weight, using the corresponding needle size to create a resource book of stitch and decorative samples. The reference book you will create includes Annie's 7 little tips and tricks of quilting techniques.
