Join us at Parramatta Library’s Studio 101 (at PHIVE) on Tuesdays, until 20 June, to take your fitness to the next level! We're also offering VR adventure fun for youth and an exciting new story time session for younger children too.

If you need to learn about Child Care Subsidies, Parenting Parents, Family Tax Benefits or Single Income Family Supplements, you can attend one of our information sessions, presented by Services Australia. This month we are also offering a Plastic Free Home workshop, so you can learn how to reduce plastic waste and make your home a bit healthier too. Don't forget, all our library events are free of charge, so reserve your ticket for one of our awesome events today.

King's Birthday Public Holiday

All library locations will be closed on Monday 12 June, for the King's birthday. However, you can still access eResources online with your library card during this time.

 

Story Time with Michael

Immerse yourself in a lively and interactive storytelling experience that promises fun and engagement! You will experience captivating tales, enchanting melodies, and joyful movements. These special story time sessions will be held on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays (from 10:30am) at Parramatta Library at PHIVE, until Monday 26 June.

Experience VR at Studio 101

Enjoy a total-body VR workout that's both engaging and effective to take your fitness to the next level! VR Fitness for adults will be held on Tuesdays until 20 June, from 10am to 12pm.

Join us for an immersive and thrilling experience that will transport you to another world! VR Adventure will be held on Tuesdays until 20 June, from 3pm to 5pm (for ages 12+ years).

 

Tech Savvy Seniors

Seniors, join us for a Tech Savvy Senior session to improve your computer skills, learn to use a smart phone, shop and bank online, and manage your digital assets. Sessions will be held at various library locations in both English and Mandarin.

 

QiPao and the Fate of Women (in Mandarin)

Join Chun Zi to listen to her speak about her work, QiPao (Cheongsam), the fate of women, the dress style and its history with the last dynasty, Qing. Discover the design, materials, and symbolism of the QiPao, as well as its variations over time.

During this talk, you will learn how to manage your medications effectively, how to avoid dangerous drug interactions, the process of the Pharmaceutical Benefit Scheme, and more.
