This email is a little longer than usual but there are just too many things that need to be said to cover in just a few words. Last week's shooting of eighteen year old, Michal Brown by a white police officer in Ferguson, MO, is tragic on so many levels. The question we must ask is, "why did some not wait for the facts and depending on those facts, at what point do Brown's own actions make him responsible for what happened rather than a victim of racial prejudice"?
I made this point when I was interviewed by Greta Van Susteren (link to the video) last week. Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson have built multimillion dollar businesses around the topic of race agitation which are now threatening to undermine our nation's Constitutional right to due process. Within hours of the shooting, civil rights frauds, Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson declared that this was a racially motivated shooting without a single fact regarding the shooting. For Heaven's sake, even the police investigating the incident didn't have the facts yet. We still don't. Vacationing President Obama stopped on the way to the golf course for a quick press conference to fuel the fire.
Now that the facts are slowly beginning to come forward, it is possible that the officer involved in the shooting may have been justified in believing that his life was being threatened by a charging Michael Brown who as two eye witnesses said was "bull rushing the officer even after he began firing". Videos of Brown stealing from and then strong arming a clerk at a convenience store a short time before he was killed may have indicated that he was willing to push his weight around to get what he wanted. A far different story than we heard from the race agitators that "he was just minding his own business with his hands up when he was gunned down by a racist cop".
The full facts of the incident will come out in due course but our legal system gives the officer the right to defend his actions in the incident before anyone should declare that he is just a racist pig. That right has been denied by Sharpton and Jackson who without any evidence convicted him of a heinous crime to gain the spotlight. We have a legal system that while not perfect, is better than any other in the world at protecting the rights of the innocent. I believe that the officer deserves his day in court just like any other American. If the shooting is ruled justified, there will still be many who will not believe it and the unrest could continue for a long time.
If you are wondering why they decided to pass judgment so quickly, the answer is simple. Had they waited for the investigation to be complete, they might not have been able to gain the press coverage and stir up the race division both crave so much. America has come a long ways in ending much of the real racism of mostly Southern Democrats of the last century. Those like Sharpton and Jackson need you to believe that we are living in the 1940's world of Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd who at the time was unanimously elected as the "Exalted Cyclops" of the Ku Klux Clan. Times have changed but there is no money and power in the truth for the race agitators.
The opportunistic and hypocritical nature of these race agitators is underscored by their total silence on the more than 220 murders in Chicago this year, a Democrat stronghold. A high percentage of the victims are young black men yet not a shred of outrage from the frauds. The same scenario is playing out in cities like Washington DC, Baltimore, New York, Los Angeles, you get the point. No outrage, no call for justice, just silence. Why? Because they cannot get their mugs on national TV to feed their egos and agenda of racial division unless they can make a death racially motivated without so much as a thread of evidence.
CNN and other news outlets sent news crews to the home of the police officer, advertizing the location placing the entire neighborhood in danger should the protests expand. For what purpose? This is an issue for the investigation and the courts to resolve in accordance to our laws yet the race agitators and the media have already found the officer guilty and protesters are calling for his speedy conviction and some, his immediate execution. Is this what our justice system has become?
If we allow the race baiting to continue, we are giving control to groups like The New Black Panthers and those who benefit from a racially divided society. This is not the civil rights movement of Dr. Martin Luther King who declared that people "should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin." The content of character is severely lacking in people like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson if they are willing to destroy any individual on the pretext of feeding their egos and agendas without waiting for the facts to emerge. It's time for us to fight back.
Tomorrow, I will begin to outline the strategy of how we can fight back. It will not be easy given that Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and President Obama along with much of the media would rather see America destroyed as long as they can gain more power or get a sensational story out of it. This will be a true grassroots effort but there is simply no other way. The side of evil division is well funded and we need your support to fight back. Our nation is on the brink and your support will help turn America back in the right direction. Help with the fight -Here-
Sincerely,
