I hope that you had a good Christmas and New Year While our work on behalf of members in Education and Children’s Services (ECS) slows down over Christmas, it has picked up apace since with reps and full-time officers supporting members through individual casework, consultations and campaigning. Since we last sent communications we held a highly successful Biennial General Meeting and Professional Seminar for members in Bristol where a new Group Executive Council (GEC) was elected. It was great to see an influx of new members to reinforce the work of existing stalwarts, and the GEC will be meeting to agree it’s strategic plan of activity for the Group shortly.
