Stockfeed budgeting support service Are you a farmer or lifestyle block owner with livestock? Do you need help planning your animals’ feed? Use the new feed budgeting service. The first two levels of help are FREE. The third tier of support is using a consultant, either from those recommended or one of your choosing and it's at your own cost. Work and Income has assistance for refilling water tanks due to drought. You have to meet criteria and you have to either own your property or rent it and be the person in charge of refilling the water tank. Rural Assistance Payments If your farming family is in hardship because of the drought, you can apply for Rural Assistance Payments to help with essential living costs. Rural Assistance Payments are generally paid in a lump sum covering four weeks, and you can apply every four weeks if it’s still needed.
