Seasons Greetings!

We are so thankful to God and to you for all that is
happening in the village of Macomb, Haiti. Thanks to your
generous giving we now have 10 Haitian employees
including teachers, cooks and a caretaker who oversees
our property. That’s 10 people with jobs in a community
overrun with unemployment and poverty. There are now
over 75 children and elderly in our feeding program and
nearly 100 children in our schools. The gospel is being
shared daily and more and more people are giving their
lives to Christ Jesus.

Through the generous support of our donors, we are
raising up the next generation of Haitian leaders. Our
children are already being equipped to be leaders in their
community. Many of our children volunteer their time
serving at the church and in the feeding program. They
sing in the choir and assist the elderly. They are taught
how to love and serve others. This new generation of
young people are the future of Haiti, and our goal is to
raise them to know who they are in Christ, and teach them
that they can make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others.

While there are great things happening, there is much
more to be done. Just a few weeks ago one of our 1st
graders, Lens Lindor (right), lost his mother to a
debilitating disease. He is now an orphan relying on
others to provide for him in a community where parents
are unable to care for their own children. It is likely Lens
will end up a slave if a family member doesn’t step-up and
take him into their home. We need a children’s home for
children like Lens, children who are adrift in this world and
in need of a family to love and protect them.

This Christmas season we are asking you to think about
your holiday expenses and consider giving your best gift
to Jesus. Jesus calls us to love the poor, the orphaned, the children. He says, “let the little children come to me, and
do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to
such as these.” Children are innocent; their love and belief
in God is pure. They need such simple things: nurturing,
education, protection. But for children living in desperate
poverty, the child slaves and orphans especially, these are
rarely attainable.

This Christmas we are asking you to give toward our
school and future children’s home. Currently, we have
raised 10,000 dollars toward our goal. Please consider
donating generously this Christmas season and together we can give Jesus and these children our best Christmas
present.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!
