Haemangioblastomas - Prof. David Walker

Haemangioblastomas are benign slow growing tumours of adults, typically occurring in the brain stem, cerebellum and spinal cord.

Walk4BrainCancer 2018

Join us in supporting Cure Brain Cancer and the Newro Foundation by participating in an inspirational 5km walk to help raise funds for brain cancer research.

Walk4BrainCancer is the biggest mobilisation of the brain cancer community, taking place across Australia from September to December every year.

Parkinson’s Disease support group

Dr Terry Coyne enjoyed sharing his knowledge at the Parkinson’s Disease support group information day recently. This essential group provide informal gatherings for people with Parkinson’s, this allows people to share with others who have had similar experiences, situations and problems. Parkinson's disease support groups are ideal for people living with Parkinson's disease, their carers, friends and family members.

The presentation was in conjunction with Professor Peter Silburn, Dr Anna Sellbach (neurologists), and Dr Susannah Tye, researcher from Qld Brain Institute. Find out more about Dr Coyne here.
