Return and Earn!
Do you care for the environment? Bring all your empty bottles and cans to the Reverse Vending Machine located near Strathfield Station and earn some money in exchange. Council have collected 140,000 bottles and cans each week and are still counting!
Community Mulch Day
Get your green thumbs working! Bring your garden waste to Community Mulch Day for mulching or just rock up and take away a trailer load of chipped mulch for free!

Opening of Strathfield War Memorial
The Strathfield War Memorial, commemorating the war service of residents of Strathfield during the First World War, was opened on 11 October 1925 by His Excellency the Governor, Admiral Sir Dudley de Clair.

Spring Fair Fundraiser
The Chalmers Road School will be hosting a Spring Fair to raise funds for a wheelchair accessible bus and resources for students with special needs. Join the school community for a fun day with market stalls, a jumping castle, BBQ lunch and Sydney Thunder Bus.
