Tasmanian International Arts Festival
It’s our birthday and we’ll give presents if we want to!

Ten Days is celebrating 14 years of arts, inspiration and entertainment. Since 2001 the Tasmanian International Arts Festival (formally Ten Days on the Island) has made its mark as the premier cultural event, bringing an outstanding range of international, national and Tasmanian artists to every corner of the island.

To mark this special occasion we are giving you the chance to win a double pass to the Blue Angel concert and overnight experience. This world premiere presented by Big hART, brings to life great stories of the sea and gives audiences a searing insight into the seafaring experience through song, film, story and installations.

This fantastic prize includes two tickets to the Blue Angel concert, sumptuous fine dining at The Astor Grill, evening entertainment from AFI Award-winning actor Kerry Armstrong, performances from a wonderful band including renowned musician Mikelangelo, overnight accommodation at the iconic Astor Private Hotel and a delicious Jackman & McRoss Bakery breakfast.

This is an incredible opportunity not to be missed! For a chance to win email your most memorable experience of the sea to marketing@tendays.org.au. Please include your full name, address and a contact phone number.

In Dementia 13, Francis Ford Coppola’s ground-breaking feature, an eccentric Irish family bickers over a vast inheritance in a lonely mansion while a mysterious axe murderer picks them off one by one. In this exhilarating adaptation by Live Live Cinema, the score and dialogue are performed onstage, with every creeping footstep and murderous axe blow bought to life by a sound effects wizard, as the film screens in the background. A cinematic happening unlike anything you will have experienced before - this is better than the movies, this is cinema in 4-D!

Holy and hilarious theatre with The Cardinals

The Cardinals is a thought-provoking, witty and entertaining work of biblical proportions from Stan's Cafe, one of the world’s most innovative theatre companies.
