Ten Days is celebrating 14 years of arts, inspiration and entertainment. Since 2001 the Tasmanian International Arts Festival (formally Ten Days on the Island) has made its mark as the premier cultural event, bringing an outstanding range of international, national and Tasmanian artists to every corner of the island.

Holy and hilarious theatre with The Cardinals

Bolivian Hamlet comes to Hobart and Burnie

Latin-America’s Teatro de los Andes have taken a hatchet to Shakespeare’s classic text, condensing the dialogue to an action-packed 80 minutes that brings passion and politics to the fore. Using inventive and stark staging, three actors and a musician play fifteen characters to create a gripping interpretation of Hamlet that explores the enforced journey thousands of Bolivians make each year; leaving their rural homes to seek out opportunity in the city.
