The last day of school for students in 2020 is Wednesday 16 December 2020. Mobile Phone Policy Changes Mobile phones will be banned for all students at Hastings Secondary College from Term 1 2021, to help reduce distraction, tackle cyber bullying and improve learning outcomes for students. From Term 1, 2021 there will be a new mobile phone policy. ![]() NAIDOC Week - Its all about Education NAIDOC Week is a time to reflect and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of the First Nation Peoples – recognising them as the traditional custodians of the land. We have had a wonderful week filled with education and learning and a little bit of fun along the way. You can order online and your book pack will arrive at Port Macquarie Campus ready for the first day or you can choose to purchase your book pack and stationery and bring on your first day. ![]() ![]() Raising funds for Hastings Education Fund Two ways you can help HEF support as many local young study grant applicants as we can in 2021. Donors of $20+ go into a draw for a $100 voucher donated by Bunnings, Port Macquarie. ![]() Calculators for sale Calculators can be purchased from the front office at a cost of $25. All students in Years 7 to 10 will require a calculator for their Yearly Exam in Week 6 (Next week). The Maths Department does NOT have enough calculators for every student. Students will be required to provide their own calculator. ![]() Year 7 to 10 End of Course Examinations End of year examinations are taking place from Monday 9 November through to Friday 19 November. ![]()
