Transmit Security, a passwordless authentication startup, scored $543 million in Series A funding, bringing the company’s pre-money valuation to $2.2 billion. Insight Partners and General Atlantic led the round, which included participation from Cyberstarts, Geodesic Capital, SYN Ventures and Artisanal Ventures. Transmit Security has offices in Boston, Tel Aviv, London and Tokyo.
Vehicle Tracking Solutions, a Commack, N.Y.-based transportation software startup, raised a $70 million investment from private-equity firm LLR Partners.
Circle Pharma Inc., a South San Francisco, Calif.-based drug discovery and development company focused on intractable cancer targets, raised $66 million in Series C funding co-led by the Column Group and Nextech Invest.
DataRails, an Israel-based financial planning and analysis software startup, raised $25 million in a Series A extension, bringing the total round to $43.5 million. The latest investment was led by existing investors Zeev Ventures, Vertex Ventures Israel and Innovation Endeavors. Vintage Investment Partners participated in the deal.
Labviva, a Cambridge, Mass.-based SaaS application for healthcare procurement, raised $8 million in seed capital to support development of its platform with new product lines, including investment in operations and customer success platforms. Senator Investment Group led the financing.
Mexico City-based Asesores de Riesgo por Canales Alternos SA de CV, an insurtech platform doing business as Guros, has raised $6 million in new funding, at a valuation of $30 million. The round was led by F-Prime Capital and Cometa.
St. Louis-based Curate Inc., which offers event-planning solutions for small businesses, has secured $1.25 million in a seed round led by OCA Ventures, with participation by Square Inc. co-founder Jim McKelvey, Cultivation Capital and Stout Street Capital.
Correction: Claroty, a cybersecurity startup, secured $140 million in a financing round co-led by 40 North. A New Money item in Friday’s newsletter incorrectly said 40 North Ventures co-led the investment.
