What are your thoughts on childcare in Yarra?
This year, Yarra Council trialled an expanded casual and occasional care service. The trial was based on feedback from families about the occasional care service offered at our leisure centres.
During the trial, we offered more casual care sessions at childcare centres while continuing to offer 90 minute occasional care sessions at Richmond Recreation Centre and Fitzroy Pool. Occasional care was not available at Collingwood Leisure Centre during the trial.
We are now evaluating the trial, and want to know your thoughts on childcare at Yarra.
Have your say.

Brocc 'n' roll
We love soup to ease the winter chills and this time it’s a quick and easy broccoli soup with garlic and leek that's super healthy and delicious.
This is a perfect mid-week meal to boost the immune system and save some much needed time to get all your other chores done (or just keep warm under a blanket on the couch!) Try it with some soft cheese or yoghurt and a bread roll.

The Japanese do food as well as any culture in the world (if not better) and Okonomoyaki is one of their better creations. It’s essentially a savoury pancake and this recipe uses eggs, potato and cabbage and an amazing sauce.
Perfect winter comfort food with healthy ingredients! Great with Japanese mayonnaise and garnished with spring onions as well!
