Battle of the Bands - Friday 20 April Aboriginal Cultural AwarenessCongratulations to Sofianna Han from Meriden, Desi Stamoulos from Strathfield South Public School and a group of 4 students from Santa Sabina who took out the top prizes in a competition about Aboriginal Cultural Awareness! Students were encouraged to submit artworks and projects relating to Aboriginal culture including bushtucker and plants. The competition raises awareness of the traditional custodians of our land, the Wangal people. Reverse Vending Machine MaintenanceCouncil wish to advise the reverse vending machine in the Strathfield carpark will be temporarily closed today and tomorrow to undergo power maintenance. Throwback ThursdayLyndoch Place - 2 Baker RoadLyndoch Place was built in 1933 and is a great example of the Inter-War Old English style homes. Prominent Bunya Pines were planted once the house was built and are now listed as landmark trees on Council’s Significant Tree Register.
