As always, it has been a delight to share stories and strategy with you in your home towns, in addition to those who sent emails and made calls throughout the year from near and far.

Thank you 2019! Regional Arts Victoria office will be closed 23 December to 5 January

Happy holidays! We would like to thank our supporters, artists, board members, executives and staff for a fantastic year. A special mention to our long time supporter and former board member Kim Chalmers of Chalmers Wines who has contributed to many of our events. Regional Arts Victoria office is close from 23 December to 5 January. We will reopen on Monday 6 January with more exciting programs and opportunities. Stay tuned!

Applications for Artists to pitch their work at Showcase Victoria are now open! If you're an artist interested in touring then this unique platform will help you build relationships and promote your work to venues and programmers. Application support is available through Showcase Victoria, so make sure you get in touch with them before applications close on 9 January 2020. Regional Arts Fund applications open 13 January 2020

We are pleased to announce that the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund Community Grant, Fellowship and Quick Response Grant Funding will reopen at 9.00am on Monday 13 January 2020.

Please note that applications for Round 1 Community Grants and Fellowships will close at 5.00pm on Monday 3 March 2020 for projects starting after 1 July 2020.  Applications for Quick Response Grants will close at 5pm on Tuesday 30 June 2020.

We encourage you to think about your planned arts activity and whether or not you might be eligible to apply to the fund.

That's a wrap! Our last Arts Connect for 2019 closes at Horsham Town Hall

Thank you to everyone who attended our last Arts Connect for the year which was held at Horsham Town Hall in November, and to those that attend the Arts Connect series this past year! Arts Connect is a series of one-day professional development events that foster skills and collaboration between regionally-based artists and organisations, strengthen local creative leadership and build stronger connections for creative people across the state. In 2019 we travelled to Wangaratta, Shepparton, Mildura, Ballarat, Campaspe Shire, and closed in Horsham with the theme 'Big Ideas in Action'. Stay connected with us by becoming a Member! 2020 Joan & Betty Rayner ACTF Fellowship Expressions of Interest close 31 January

Supported by the Australian Children’s Theatre Foundation (ACTF) and Regional Arts Victoria, the 2020 Joan and Betty Rayner ACTF Fellowship will support the development of an artists’ practice to the amount of $20,000. Open to emerging or established artists working in children’s theatre or those wishing to diversify their practice into and across the field of theatre for young audiences, Expressions of Interest for the Fellowship will close on 31 January 2020. As applicants need to present work which aligns to the ideals of the Foundation, we encourage you to visit the information page where you can download the Guidelines and Application Form.
