In October 2015, Dr Dominik Huber led the TOUR 230 students into the Zealandia wildlife sanctuary to further study visitor management strategies. The class was split into groups and taken around the sanctuary by Zealandia guides, who were quizzed with a wide variety of questions.

The students were given the privilege of getting close to the nearest thing to a New Zealand "dinosaur".
