Electronic Seat Slide & Arm Rotation

The electronic seat slide is often used for transfers, as the seat can move forward to be placed closer to the surface that the user is transferring to or from. It is also used for pulling up closer to tables. Both uses benefit from the ability to push the control arms back and out of the way.

Seat and Back-Support Angle

The seat to back-support angle, as well as the orientation of the seat as a whole can be configured to maintain optimal spinal alignment. This gives users, especially those with less upper body strength, the ability to remain balanced and keep his or her head and trunk upright.

Seat: 1º | 4º |  7º | 10º
Back-Support: 94º | 96º | 98º | 100º

Foot-Support Length & Angle

The foot-support can be lengthened so that the pelvis, thighs and lower legs remain in optimal alignment. This allows for the foot to rest comfortably while making sure the knees and hamstrings aren’t overextended. Its angle can also be adjusted, which helps to keep the feet from sliding off.

Foot-support Length: 0" | 1" | 2" | 3" | 4"
Foot-support Angle: 0º - 10º

Seat Depth

The seat itself can be lengthened or shortened based on the user's upper leg length to maximize the surface contact area. This enhances femoral support and helps the user maintain optimal pressure distribution on the lower extremities.

Seat Depth: 16" | 17" | 18" | 19" | 20"

Back-Support Height

The back-support can be adjusted based on the user's height to provide the right amount of thoracic support so that the trunk and pelvis do not collapse. This is especially helpful for users with less trunk control.

Seat to Foot-Support Height

WHILL can accommodate users between 4'0" and 6'2" tall. This is possible due to the ability to raise and lower the seat, adjusting the distance between the seat and the foot-support. This feature is perfect for younger users who are growing quickly and may need to adjust the seat height frequently.

Seat to Foot-support: 14” | 15” | 16” | 17” | 18” | 19” | 20”
