Siilo, an Amsterdam-based collaboration app for healthcare professionals, raised $10.5 million in Series A funding. VC Heal Capital led the round, which included participation from Philips Health Technology Venture Fund and EQT Ventures.
MikMak, a New York-based ecommerce marketing and insights platform, closed a $10 million Series A funding round led by Wavecrest Growth Partners. New investors including Lunch Partners and Madrona Venture Group also participated, along with existing backers Luminari Capital and Brave Ventures. Wavecrest Growth co-founder Deepak Sindwani joined the company’s board.
MomentFeed, a Santa Monica, Calif.-based proximity search optimization software provider, picked up a $10 million investment. Level Equity led the round, with participation from Signia Venture Partners, Draper Nexus and DFJ Frontier.
JetClosing Inc., a Seattle-based digital home closing service for resales and refinances, completed a $9 million Series B round led by funds and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates. Pioneer Square Labs and Trilogy Equity also joined in the investment.
Polyarc Inc., a Seattle-based virtual and augmented reality gaming startup, secured $9 million in Series B financing. Hiro Capital led the round, which included contributions from Vulcan Capital and Galaxy Interactive. Ian Livingstone, a founding partner of Hiro Capital, will join the board.
KloudGin, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based field service and asset management platform, landed $8.2 million in Series A funding from Cloud Apps Capital Partners. Venture Partner Andy Stinnes will join the board.
Hevo Data Inc., a San Francisco- and India-based “no-code” data pipeline platform, fetched an $8 million Series A round. Qualgro led the investment, which included support from Chiratae Ventures, Sequoia Capital India’s Surge and others.
Spyderbat Inc., an Austin, Texas-based startup that helps organizations handle early threat discovery and investigation, was seeded with a $4.2 million investment led by LiveOak Venture Partners and Benhamou Global Ventures. Venu Shamapant from LiveOak and Venkat Raghavan from Benhamou Global joined the board.
LOOM, a Los Angeles-based provider of online education for sexual and reproductive wellbeing, nabbed a $3 million seed investment. Slow Ventures led the round, which included participation from Precursor Ventures, GSV, Moxxie Ventures, General Catalyst, Maveron and others.
Grubbly Farms Inc., an Atlanta-based provider of sustainable, insect-based snacks and feed for backyard chickens, closed a $2.9 million seed round. Overline led the investment, and was joined by Oval Park Capital, Techstars and Create-X.
New Age Meats Inc., a Berkeley, Calif.-based cultivated meat startup, added $2 million in new seed funding. TechU Ventures led the round, with participation from ff Venture Capital, SOSV, Sand Hill Angels and Siddhi Capital.
