Classes at Cary Quilting Company
Thank you for your responses to our Classes Survey in the last newsletter. The instructors are busy working on new classes for you! We have a Class Blast Newsletter dedicated to classes now - please check it out!
Text It! by Sherri Noel is a collection of really fun quilts and projects with text appliquéd on. Sherri is also the designer of the Dear Daughter Quilt, which hangs in the Longarm area of the shop. I had such fun creating it that we ran it as a quilt-along with 20 participants, and now I'm excited about this book! In addition to 10 project patterns, the book includes pull-out template pages with 7 full-sized alphabets ready to be traced and appliquéd. Her directions are amazing, and her patterns are clever and adorable. This book also has 6 pages of appliqué instructions with photos, so it's perfect for a beginner. Sherri has a large social media presence, so you can get alternate ideas, phrases, or color ways for the projects you'll find in the book. Two thumbs up!

Longarm Quilting News
The Quilting team has been busy getting as many quilts as possible done each day. Thank you to all our customers who have brought in quilts to be quilted! It is a true pleasure to work with you all. We are currently taking orders for a return date of late May.
We are still accepting bed sized quilts for the Carolina Hurricane Quilt Project. Bring them in to the shop and we will make sure they get to our neighbors who need them.
The 2019 UFO Club has winners!
Congrats to 3rd place quilter Karin Mede, 2nd place quilter Cheryl Ritter, and for the third year in a row, our UFO Club winner is Bonnie McAdams! In truth, everyone who participated won, because you got those UFOs out of hiding and worked on them again. The Cary Quilting Company UFO Club will start up again next January.
Easter Closing
We will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019
Did you know that we only close the shop 5 days a year? New Year's Day, Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are the 5 days when our doors aren't open.
Come see us any of the other 360 days of the year!
