Scribd Inc., a San Francisco-based ebook, audiobook and magazine subscription service, closed a $58 million funding round led by Spectrum Equity.
Frame.io Inc., a New York-based video review and collaboration platform, raised $50 million in Series C funding. Insight Partners led the round, which included participation from Accel, FirstMark, SignalFire and Shasta Ventures. Itai Tsiddon, co-founder of Lightricks, will represent Insight on Frame.io’s board.
Deep 6 AI, a Pasadena, Calif.-based clinical trial recruitment startup, collected $17 million in Series A funding. Point72 Ventures led the round, with participation from investors including GSR Ventures. Daniel Gwak, a partner at Point72, will join the company’s board.
Cymulate Ltd., an Israel-based cyber-attack simulation startup, secured $15 million in Series B funding. Vertex Growth Fund led the round, with participation from the investment arm of Vertex Ventures Israel, Dell Technologies Capital and Susquehanna Growth Equity.
Openly Inc., a Boston-based home insurance startup, was seeded with a $7.7 million investment led by Gradient Ventures.
Entera, a residential real-estate investment platform with offices in San Francisco, New York and London, picked up a $7.5 million round of financing. Bullpen Capital and Craft Ventures led the investment, and were joined by ValueStream Ventures and others.
Vibenomics Inc., a Fishers, Ind.-based startup whose technology enables businesses to control their background music to enhance sales, added $5 million in seed financing. New investors Elevate Ventures and The Ricker Family provided the round, along with existing backer High Alpha.
Rad AI, a Berkeley, Calif.-based radiology startup, launched with a $4 million seed round. Gradient Ventures led the investment, with contributions from UP2398, Precursor Ventures, GMO Venture Partners, Array Ventures, Hike Ventures, Fifty Years VC and others.
