Happy news from class instructor Kristene In 2021, a group of ladies from my neighborhood discussed sewing. Some enjoyed sewing, some wanted to learn, and others were avid quilters. We formed a group, and members have varying skill levels; some don't sew but help prepare fabric, create kits, track donations, and assist with quilts. We all support each other in learning new skills. Our group has donated 102 quilts to WakeMed Cary and Meals on Wheels Durham in the past 20 months! Our group has now doubled in size. We also make cloth grocery bags for food pantry giveaways and plan to teach sewing and sharing the spirit of giving with a girl scout troop soon. We are excited about expanding our community contributions further. Learn about Kristene and see her current class offerings here. ![]() Free PatternLove Christmas prints but aren't sure what to make with them?
