Dear friend, Thanks to all of you who were able to join us last Thursday August 19 for Making Connections 2021: Moving from Scarcity to Abundance! While our results are still coming in, we’ve met AND exceeded our $50,000 with a preliminary total of $56,268! This past year has been a testament to the strength of our community, and we’re fortunate that Making Connections is the perfect example of how that strength culminates. Your support enables Lift UP to meet a rising need for fresh, nutritious food – with abundance. When we come together, even virtually, we can feed our community. For those of you who weren't able to join us and still want to watch Making Connections, check out the video below! A full list of sponsors and supporters can be found on our website here. I am again impressed and proud of the support Lift UP receives from our clients, volunteers, and donors. Despite uncertain and stressful times, it has never been more apparent that food really does bring us together! Thank you Oregon Food Bank! In June, Lift UP received a grant from Oregon Food Bank that allowed us to purchase more equipment for our warehouse and Preston’s Pantry. We in turn can now provide even more fresh, nutritious, produce, meat, dairy, and essential pantry items when they are needed most in our community. Our Warehouse Manager Ceci is especially grateful for the Oregon Food Bank grant. "The new equipment at the warehouse enables us to provide a greater variety of dairy and produce to our Delivered Food Box clients. We are grateful for the continued support of Oregon Food Bank during such challenging times." Thank you, Oregon Food Bank, for being an amazing source of support and a community partner! Gratefully, ![]() The Lift UP Team Food brings us together! |
