Masks and social distancing are required in classes. Avery Walther (our shop owner's daughter and a Cary Quilting staff member) has held an ice cream stand each summer for the last 9 years for the charity Smile Train. She was born with cleft lip and palate, so this is a charity that's near and dear to her heart. She wasn't sure that it would be a great year for another ice cream stand, due to COVID-19's impact. We are proud of her for having been chosen as a Smile Train Student Ambassador during the school year, and she is always accepting online donations at her Smile Train page if you feel drawn to donate.
