Quilter's Trek starts on Sunday!
Quilter's Trek is the new name and version of The Row by Row Experience. This year's theme is "True Blue" and each shop's project is designed in four 9" blocks, which can be created in a row or a square. We have designed a friendly octopus!
This year, you can order our project kits online for the first time ever! As always, free patterns will be available in the shop.
Patterns and kits are available starting on Sunday, June 21st.

Cary Quilting Gives Back
In mid-May, we pledged to donate a percentage of shop sales from 5/19 - 5/31/20 to Dorcas Ministries in Cary. We wanted to help those less fortunate in our community. Last week, I was proud to take a $2000 check to Dorcas! Thank you so much for your support of us and of others. Quilters are a great group of people!

Avery, 1 month old
Avery at 16!
Avery Walther (our shop owner's daughter and a Cary Quilting staff member) has held an ice cream stand each summer for the last 9 years for the charity Smile Train. She was born with cleft lip and palate, so this is a charity that's near and dear to her heart.
She wasn't sure that it would be a great year for another ice cream stand, due to COVID-19's impact.
We are proud of her for having been chosen as a Smile Train Student Ambassador during the school year, and she is always accepting online donations at her Smile Train page if you feel drawn to donate.
Longarm Quilting Updates
We now offer appointments with our terrific longarm quilting team. When you make an appointment, one of our quilting team members will dedicate that time to discuss your project with you when you bring it in.
We are currently accepting projects for August completions.
We can't wait to quilt for you!

93-year-young LaVerne Black is our highlighted quilter for Sew Good today! For the last 5 years, LaVerne has made baby quilts & flannel blankets for the little ones at Ronald McDonald House. Last year she delivered them 36 quilts & 91 blankets that she made! She tries to stay busy, so she doesn't get bored. Her "something interesting" is that she and her husband traveled for 9 years with full-time RV'ers. They all drove in a caravan from Texas to Mexico, Alaska, and Nova Scotia.

Count on Me NC
Count On Me NC is a public health initiative that empowers guests and businesses to help keep everyone safe from COVID-19.
