Click here Thursday 26 November 2020 Coronavirus Updates and ResourcesOn Monday 23 November 2020 it became mandatory for certain types of businesses (including hospitality venues, food and drink premises, pubs, small bars, registered clubs and function centres) to use QR codes or other electronic check-in methods to collect patron details. From Tuesday 1 December 2020 up to 50 people can gather outdoors in a public space (currently 30). The COVID-19 Information Pack for Lifesaving (and Summary of Changes) will be updated to reflect this on 1 December. From Tuesday 1 December 2020 small hospitality venues (up to 200 square metres in size) will be allowed to have one person per two square metres indoors. Clubs are encouraged to update their COVID-19 Safety Plans to reflect these new requirements. Surf Life Saving Foundation - Adopt an Hour CampaignThis summer, the Surf Life Saving Foundation (SLSF) is rolling out a new national fundraising campaign called “Adopt an Hour.” The campaign is about educating the public on the amount of hours that surf lifesavers volunteer on average each patrolling season. Please email Laura Schuetz copies of paid invoices, along with copy of proof of payment/remittance advices, and a club invoice made out to Surf Life Saving NSW for the full voucher amount. Once received we can commence reimbursement. Events 2020 Envirobank NSW Super Team Series - Round Two CancellationSurf Life Saving NSW wishes to advise that the second round of the Envirobank Super Team Series will not be rescheduled. This difficult decision was made based on the overwhelming feedback received from the athlete survey, which went out in early November, and the lack of ability to find a date in the new year to run the postponed round which would be fair and inclusive of all stakeholders. Round three will continue as scheduled on Saturday 5 December at Umina SLSC. Palm Beach SLSC Adrian Curlewis Twilight MastersEntries are now open for the 2021 Palm Beach SLSC Adrian Curlewis Twilight Masters Carnival, 8 Jan 2021. Entries close 31 December 2020.
