The recommendation is the existing mobile camera units remain in their current positions at the following locations.

John Handley Park, Christine Ave, Burleigh Waters
Burleigh Soccer Club, Miami
Pizzey Drive and Courtside Drive, Miami
Pacific Ave and Sonia Street, Miami

The City has a fleet of mobile cameras that are able to be temporarily deployed throughout the Gold Coast in response to issues of community concern.

Mobile cameras are used to record and monitor public safety issues such as vehicle hooning, graffiti and anti-social behaviour.

The mobile cameras can also be deployed to enhance patron safety at large events and for disaster recovery.
