EMTC COMPETITIONS UPDATE..

We hope our members are keeping safe and well at home, and staying active.  You are hopefully getting to hit a tennis ball somehow -  against a wall (hopefully outside!), or for the dog/cat to chase and return.

We have some updates from our competition Associations, who are all hoping to get some sort of season started, most likely late October/early November.

With this in mind, if we are allowed to return to social play after the current lockdown we may organise some form of social competition or Club Championships, if there is time before Competition commences.

Please read the relevant information below with regards to the Competition you normally play in, and watch out for future emails with Nomination details & deadlines.

Senior & Junior Weekend Comp: All Associations (WDTA, BRTA & ERT) are preparing for a Summer 2020-21 season, with finals to be played mid to late March 2021.

WDTA Night Comp: WDTA are hoping for a shortened "Spring Season", starting early November and a Grand Final only on the week commencing 14th December.  We will request team confirmation from you mid to late September.

BDNTA Night Comp: Dom is proposing a special "Summer Season" commencing mid-late October with a full 14 round schedule and finals in April/May 2021. We will request team confirmation from you mid to late September.

MIDWEEK Ladies Comp: All appear to be waiting for the end of the current lockdown before making any further decisions.  We will keep you informed when we have some news.

EMTC has moved their banking to the East Malvern Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank

Late last year the EMTC Committee decided to move the Club's banking to our local Community branch of the Bendigo Bank.  We are very pleased to announce this process was completed early July and Ruth Hall, Senior Branch Manager, and her team at the East Malvern branch have made the transition seamless.

Our Bank of Melbourne accounts are still open, while we go through the process of transferring everything across, and ensuring everyone has the correct details for depositing into our account.
