Community Litter Prevention Grants

Are you a local not-for-profit organisation and want to do something about litter? The NSW Government provides grants ranging from $4,000 to $90,000 for projects that contribute to reducing and preventing litter initiatives.

Boneseed has recently been found in the Strathfield LGA. This weed can be harmful to native flora and fauna. If you suspect you have found a Boneseed plant, please call Strathfield Council’s Biosecurity officer on 9648 9999 for identification and advice. Click the link below for more information.

School zones will return from Monday 20 July. Please remember to slow down to 40km per hour between 8am – 9:30am and 2:30pm – 4pm. Increased penalties apply for offences.

Amenities Building Update

Work on the Strathfield Park Amenities Building is progressing well and the team is on track to deliver the project in time for the summer! Council looks forward to opening the new building to better service the community for years to come.
