Hi friends, |
|
Welcome to the Stocking Stuffer December edition of the Good Work Newsletter.
This one goes out to making it through an entire year of pretending to be dressed up for Zoom calls by putting a work shirt on over your pajamas. Here, here!
It’s been a Simply Good Week here at Good Work...
On Monday we introduced Robin Mannering to our team, and I couldn’t be more excited. You know how a duck looks super graceful above water but his feet are going a hundred miles per hour below? Well, that’s not us anymore! Robin live’s in France (down the street from Gavin) which means he also has the French Alps in the background of all of our video calls.
We also launched Coffee for Web Developers, a side project I’ve wanted to do for a while now, and a fun little foray into physical goods. We’ve learned a lot, like stamps don’t adhere to shiny labels, and sourcing good beans ain’t easy, but other than that I’m happy with the outcome. The whole project was done remotely via team members from California to England to France. A percentage of our profits are going to CodeNow, a 501(c)(3) non-profit teaching high school students how to solve meaningful problems through code.
Other than that, it’s business as usual here at Good Work. If you’ve made it this far, thank you! We’re incredibly grateful for our clients, friends, partners and newsletter readers.
Happy (almost) Holidays!
Garrett

Coffee for Web Developers ☕️ |
|
|
|
Coffee for Web Developers is a small batch coffee concept by yours truly. Our first batch, a.k.a. batch zero, is a limited supply of beautifully designed 12oz. bags of premium, medium roast coffee beans sourced from Ngozi, Burundi and Oaxaca, Mexico. Our high-quality blend has tasting notes of dark chocolate, brown sugar and red cherry. Needless to say, it’ll pair nicely with your favorite text editor and mechanical keyboard. And if that’s not enough, a percentage of our profits go to CodeNow, a 501(c)(3) non-profit teaching high school students how to solve meaningful problems through code. Order a bag today!
