Putting Lymphoma in the Limelight on
World Lymphoma Awareness Day!
It is World Lymphoma Awareness Day today, Sunday 15 September.
It’s acknowledged and celebrated around the world to raise awareness of cancers of the lymphatic system. In Australia - Lymphoma is the number one blood cancer.
Lymphoma Australia is putting lymphoma in the limelight this September as part of the National awareness month.
Lymphoma Australia and medical experts are using World Lymphoma Awareness Day to ‘put lymphoma in the limelight’ and call for all Australians to better recognise the symptoms of a blood cancer that takes an Australian life every six hours.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has signed up to put Lymphoma in the Limelight. In doing so, you are making a positive difference to the lives of people living with lymphoma, their families, friends and carers, through
increased awareness and support.
There are so many benefits when people know more – whether it’s knowing when signs and symptoms should be referred to a specialist or feeling fully informed to make confident decisions about their treatment.
The more people we can have talking about lymphoma, the more awareness we can create around this very common, but lesser known cancer. You play a vital role in this conversation and we urge you to take part in whatever big or small way possible for you. Let's put lymphoma in the limelight.
Thanking you for your ongoing support.
