Food Safety Officer Warrant Renewals Territorial Authority-based food safety officers are reminded to check the expiration dates of their Food Act 2014 instruments of appointment (warrants). Apply for warrant renewal by completing the SA2 Statutory Appointment Application form from the Working as a food safety officer page. IMPORTANT INFORMATIONCPD Year Has Begun The next period for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for verifiers began on 1 October. All verifiers need to log onto the new Food Safety Academy (formerly the Food Verifiers Academy) on Tiritiri and navigate to the My CPD Records page. Verifiers need to complete the first two steps of the CPD programme by 30 November 2020. Read more.
