Rescued Swimmers Reunited With Lifesavers
Two volunteer surf lifesavers, who were awarded the prestigious National Rescue of the Month Award for performing back-to-back rescues, have been reunited with the men whose lives they saved.
NSW Athletes Gear up to Defend Interstate Title
Surf Life Saving NSW is pleased to announce the 24-strong team for both the state and country teams who will compete next month at the 2020 Interstate Championships in Queensland.
PM Presents National Rescue Award to Surf Lifesavers
On Monday 2 December, Prime Minister Scott Morrison presented National Rescue of the Month Awards to NSW volunteer surf lifesavers at a function in Canberra’s Parliament House.
Three in a Row for Northern Beaches Surf Stars
Sydney Northern Beaches athletes have cemented their place at the top by winning the 2019 NSW Interbranch Championships for the third year in a row.
2020 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships
Entries are now open for the 2020 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships. The State’s premier surf event will be held at Swansea Belmont SLSC from 22 February - 8 March 2020. You can watch some of the LIVE action on our Facebook page during the Age and Opens weekends.
Litres for the Land
Your local club has now raised enough money to deliver 2,870 truckloads of water to drought-affected communities. The water will be transported to the bush, and provided for free to farms and families that need it the most. Help show rural Australian families they are not alone by supporting the Litres for the Land appeal.
