Second Annual Spring Plant SaleOur second annual spring plant sale was a great success last weekend, selling Oregon native plants - some sourced from Bosky Dell Natives in West Linn, and many grown by our own participants! - to benefit the horticultural therapy program. Many of you came out on Saturday to check out the sale and our sensory garden as we gear up for planting for the summer. Thank for your support! Our horticultural therapy program, run by our gardener and therapeutic support specialist Peg Falconer, gets our participants engaged in the natural world around them and gives them a sense of accomplishment as they learn how to nurture and grow plants and even make food for themselves with the fruits and vegetables they grow every year. Frankie Disko MemorialThis Tuesday, we held a small memorial for Frankie Disko. We sang some of his favorite songs, shared his beloved hats, and planted a tree in the garden to give participants a place to remember him and other people they love. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us remember our dear friend. Charity Golf Tournament This JulyOur annual Imagine Possibilities charity golf tournament is coming up fast. Join us on July 20th, 2018, at the Ghost Creek course at Pumpkin Ridge for a day of golf, games, and summer fun, all while helping Imagine Possibilities in our continuing mission to provide quality care and opportunities for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
