CYME found liable for false smear campaign against ETAP
Justice has been served!
ETAP won a jury verdict against CYME International T&D, Inc.
CYME and its then agent Amir Aslani of IPET-CO (posing as “Independent Power Engineers”) violated US Federal Law by engaging in a false marketing campaign against ETAP.
CYME and IPET-CO collectively have created and distributed false statements for over three years. The attacks consisted of over 50 false cases, a website, disparaging YouTube videos, and a massive number of emails distributed throughout the industry. There could be only one aim: to damage ETAP’s reputation.
