We appreciate you always showing up and speaking out for our shared mission to raise up women's voices and opportunities in global health leadership. This #GivingTuesday, December 3, 2019, we are asking you to Give Women Your Platform. If you are a global health organization, use the power and position you have and give it to women who are emerging leaders in your organization. Hand over your social media account and let them tell the world the amazing work that they are doing. With your help, we can unleash the power of women in global health across the globe. We also ask you to #BuildwithWGH. Women in Global Health is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. With your help, we can solidify and grow this inspirational community! Best, The Women in Global Health team INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE DAY Every person — no matter who they are or where they live — should be able to get the quality health services they need without facing financial hardship. Three months after the historic UN High-Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage, join us to tell leaders to keep the promise of #HealthForAll. Most importantly, let's continue to ensure that gender equality remains central to Universal Health Coverage, especially the critical role that women health workers have in achieving it. Wondering what YOU can do to support the campaign? Here are some ideas!

A special thanks to all our inspiring speakers. Women Leaders in Global Health Conference Women in Global Health hosted another successful and interactive ‘Meet & Greet’ networking event at the Women Leaders in Global Health Conference in Kigali, Rwanda on November 9th of this year. Not only did women and men leaders, new and seasoned professionals, come together from different parts of the world such as Sri Lanka, Nepal, South Africa, Kenya, and Abu Dhabi, to learn about WGH and its mission but we also welcomed Princess Dina Mired of Jordan. There was brainstorming on ways to build networks of women collaborating with one another in various healthcare sectors, people sharing their projects, efforts, and ideas, and there were discussions on the chapter building efforts of Women in Global Health. Group photo from the WGH Meet and Greet event Roopa Dhatt, WGH Executive Director, Lilly Khorsand and Jasmine Burton from the Communications Team, and Calbeth Alaribe from the Chapter Development Team, were on the ground at the event answering questions about ways to develop WGH communities in their respective countries, celebrating the efforts of WGH as an organization, and encouraging interest in chapter development and involvement. It was also exciting to see members from WGH Pakistan, WGH Somalia, WGH Francophone, WGH India and WGH Africa Regional Hub engaging with attendees and discussing their own efforts to advance the WGH mission.
