Events 2020/21 Surf Sports SeasonThe SLSNSW Surf Sports team and Branch Directors of Surf Sports are working hard to finalise calendars for the season ahead. There is strong intent to deliver surf sport events this season and lots of work is being undertaken to make that happen within the guidelines of the current restrictions. The State Championships will look different this season due to COVID-19 and the program is being reviewed to ensure that restrictions are adhered to and a viable Championship program is delivered. Interbranch ChampionshipsDue to COVID-19, the Interbranch Championships will move from December 2020 to March 2021. The SLSNSW Surf Sports team are currently working with branches to share and collaborate calendars and will seek to communicate the confirmed date in March soon. Grants & Fundraising Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.
