By calmly opening up conversations in our classrooms, we can help develop the essential life skills that promote children’s ability to cope, resolve conflict, and manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
While there might be days when children feel sad or struggle and other days when they feel confident and calm, it is important that we encourage children to ask for help and support when they need it.
