One step closer to making zero deaths from breast cancer a reality

It’s the first issue of Pink Ribbon Bulletin for 2018 but we’re already buzzing with all the exciting news from the breast cancer sphere!

In case you missed the announcement, the government has agreed to progressively increase the age for free breast screening from 69 to 74 – a great acknowledgement of breast cancer as a health priority.

#WorldCancerDay

Did you see our ‘What Not To Say’ video released last Sunday on #WorldCancerDay? If you’ve ever been unsure about what to say to someone diagnosed with cancer, it’s a must-watch. A huge thank you to Urzila Carlson and Jackie Clarke for capturing the awkwardness brilliantly.

Further celebrations include the validation of the 12-month Herceptin regime by the international SOLD study, and the success of our Public Education Day (recordings of all the presentations are available on our Youtube channel.)

Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year.
