It is a time to renew our prayer life, reflect on the truly important things in life, and maybe give up one or two indulgences that we have grown a little too comfortable with. Lent provides a concrete time for us to refocus our priorities and prayerfully reflect on our lives. 2nd Grade Parent Meeting There was an error in the Weekly Announcements about the date for the parent meeting for First Communion. The correct day for the meeting is Sunday, March 7 at 10AM Join Us For a Night of Faith & Praise 2021-22 REGISTRATIONRegistration packets were sent home on Friday, 1/29 and are now PAST DUE. We are now accepting new families for registration. Secure your child's spot by sending in your completed packet in as soon as possible. Thank you. Trash to TreasureIn second grade, learning about counting money and making change just got real! Students scoured their toy collections at home, selected a few items they were ready to part with, priced the items, and set up a store at their own desk. Through buying and selling, the students had the chance to practice money skills in a real-life situation. The children were very excited about their "new" treasures, but aside from that, they had the opportunity to live out their faith through helping others. The proceeds made by the class were donated to the Williams family who lost their home in the Fultondale tornado at the end of January. Friday Stations of the Cross We invite you to virtually join us for stations of the cross each Friday during Lent. You can find the link to our livestream on the school website. As a Lenten sacrifice, all students are asked to observe a silent dismissal beginning with the end of stations until carpool is over. We appreciate your support in helping our students practice our traditional Lenten sacrifice and look forward to sharing the Passion of Our Lord with you each Friday afternoon. 2020-21 Yearbook & Yearbook AdsDeadline to order is March 19 The 2020-21 Yearbook and yearbook ads are now available to order.
