Three Color Burrito Pillowcase for Middle School Students
This is a fantastic "learn-to-sew" class for middle schoolers interested in learning how to sew. They will leave the class with a completed pillowcase.
New Camp!
Kim will help guide you through the Knitted Star pattern. (pattern required for camp). We meet four times, starting in August. You can make one of 3 sizes included in the pattern: Wall Hanging, Throw or Queen-sized quilt.
Saturday Night Sewing Sesion with Sandi
Do you like to party on a Saturday night? If by party, you mean hang out and sew, this is the night for you! Come for a fun evening of sewing. Bring whatever you want to work on and spend time in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Make the Crown and Anchor blocks and create a table runner, large throw, or queen size bed quilt to showcase bold, fabulous fabrics. Use up some of those wonderful fat quarters you have but don’t know quite what to do with!

This quilt by Roz Ledbetter is a fantastic way to get into the festive mood! What better way to greet your visitors than to have this near the front door as a wall hanging or on your table as a table topper. It’s Christmas squared!
Cookie Ornament Wool Appliqué Class
Learn the basics of working with wool while Lynn guides you through the steps to create fun ornaments. You will learn the basic embroidery stitches needed to create your sweet ornaments as well as tips and tricks for working with wool.
Join Sudi-Laura in learning the basics of Big Stitch hand quilting. We will be using a large-eye needle and size 8 pearl cotton thread to create beautifully modern quilt stitches. This portable technique can be used on quilts, wall hangings, pillows, bindings, and more.

Sewing for Charity
We partner with Wake Med Cary Hospital as a collection site for donated handmade items. In their most recent volunteer newsletter, they requested:
Chemo Hats
WakeMed's Cancer Care is expanding. Please be aware that we currently do not have pediatric cancer patients. Jersey-knitted sewn chemo hats in adult sizes are needed for the summer months. They prefer colors that match cancer ribbon colors. If you knit or crochet, feel free to contribute. Cancer Care needs around 50 adult hats monthly. Here is a YouTube tutorial for a knit beanie pattern.
Adult Blankets
Any style and size is suitable (30" x 40” to 40" x 50”), but cancer patients particularly appreciate fleece blankets as they help keep them warm during treatments. We constantly require adult blankets for all our patients and gladly welcome quilted, sewn, knitted, crocheted, or taggie blankets in adult patterns.
