Join us in the woods this April! We have 50 pine trees to plant at the Rocks and Roots Trail! Come join us and get your hands dirty! Tree planting day is 4/15 and then join us for alittle race at the Dirt of the Earth 10K & Half on the 4/23! dirtoftheearth.com

Running Glass City Half or Full in Toledo?!

Join us before and after the race in our cheer station tent located in mile 26! You can drop your gear, invite your friends and family to cheer you on from here, and then join us as we cheer on the rest of MIT as they finish up the race!

We will have a Fleet Feet tent, complete with lawn chairs, coolers full of tasty beverages, and a safe, secure spot to keep your gear while you race!

Newbies Welcome! I cater the workouts so that any and all can partake. So, if you are new to marathon training, but have been running consistently COME JOIN US. If this is your first foray at active pursuits just come and knock out your mileage for the day, but don't do the higher intensity workout!

The Workout:  

1 mile warm up to Pleasanton -  HEADLAMPS OR HANDHELD LIGHT STILL MANDATORY! IT WILL BE DARK WHEN YOU FINISH!

Half

  • 10x800m at interval pace; 1:1 rest

Full

  • 12x800m at interval pace; 1:1 rest

Start: 7:30AM

Distances:

Cap City Half Mileage: 11 

Flying Pig Full Mileage: 12

Be sure to arrive no later than 7:15am!

Wednesday

Forecast: Low 60's, WINDY, potential for storms. Stay tuned to MIT text alerts in event of cancellation

Top: Short sleeve base layer

Bottom: Shorts or capris

Accessories: Headlamp or flashlight

Saturday

Forecast: High 30's-Low 40's

Top: Short sleeve base layer, 1/4 zip, wind breaking
