Kart Stop...Wont Stop!

This week our go kart teams were presented with their project to do list: finish their incredible mathematical designs, then assemble their karts! The groups were given an instruction manual and a bag of fixings and had to problem-solve the rest together! The karts looked fantastic by the end of the day, sporting some truly eye-catching, colourful designs. Watch out for our promotional team videos that we will be working on next week!

Big Foot Drama Company

This week Year 5 worked with Big Foot Drama Company. The workshop was about Bullying and the pupils made up songs, raps and took part in role play activities.

Sameeksha stated that " I really enjoyed the show". Jessica "It was really fun and active and I learnt a lot".
Shyanne " I like the play and it taught me how to respond to problems".

Learning is Key...board!

This week Miss Wall and Miss Linehan organised a visit to ELAM for Claudius. He had an incredible visit and had an opportunity to play many of the instruments and look around lots of the Live Rooms.  Here is a picture of Miss Wall showing Claudius how a piano works and where the music comes from. Well done Claudius for your professional behaviour whilst on our trip.

We Need You!

Middle School is busy designing campaign posters and writing manifestos for the School Council. Each coaching group will have one represpentative that will represent the wants and needs of the pupils. It is a great opportunity to help shape and develop the school.

This week in the Gender Equality Project, the Year 5s and 7s have begun developing their own campaign. They've written their own protest songs, designed flyers and developed their own logos to raise awareness of gender inequality in our society. Take a look at some of their excellent logos above!
