In preparation for the upcoming fall semester, the advising staff will be holding Virtual Drop-In Office Hours for the next couple of weeks.  This will be done using the Zoom application. Advisors will be sending emails to their individual students with the Zoom link information.  Virtual Drop-In Office Hours are not for future planning purposes, but for any quick questions or registration concerns. Please check your email frequently to find this information.  If you have questions regarding this new process, feel free to contact your academic advisor.

**Update to drop/add deadline**

Please be mindful that the university changed the drop/add deadline for full-session classes to seven days. That change takes effect this fall.

Full-Session Classes Deadline: The last day to drop or add a full-session class without a W for this term is Tuesday, August 25th.

First-Session Classes Deadline: The last day to add or drop a first-session class without a W is Monday, August 24th.

We suggest any drop or add be conducted by 4:30 pm to be safe.  For more information about registration deadlines, please see the calendar on the Registrar’s website.

Management students, mark your calendars!

Connect with the outstanding 24 faculty members, many who have won teaching and advising awards, and learn about the new management tracks that have close connections with Haslam clubs and clear career trajectories. You can also discover the Internship Experience associated with the MGT majors. There will be virtual door prizes and digital gift cards! All management majors or those interested in majoring in management should plan to attend! Check your email for an invitation with a Zoom link. Other M&E activities for MGT majors in September: Connect with employers who hire Management majors and land that internship or job at Management Networking Night!

To ensure IB Collateral & Concentration students stay on track for graduation, IPSA is providing alternative programs to satisfy the study abroad requirement. To learn more, join us for a Zoom webinar on September 2 at 4 pm.

Believe it or not - one day, students will be able to study abroad again (perhaps as early as Spring 2021)! If you are interested in learning more about study abroad options, email haslamabroad@utk.edu to schedule an appointment with an IPSA advisor!
