PRESIDENT'S UPDATE

The cold weather is coming and we need to keep fit.  What better way to keep warm, than by playing tennis.
Rohan continues his fine work by organising a drinking tap by the pavilion at Courts 7&8. This means Friday Social, visiting teams and the rest of us don't have to walk back towards the Clubhouse.
We are looking to make our Courts more rain tolerant. We are waiting for Stonnington to make us an offer to help financially. We also need to negotiate a lease for the Club. If anyone can help with this process, I would be pleased to talk with you.
We are well down the path with a much needed "New Constitution" and we will ask for your comments soon.
We are going to make some modifications inside the Club to assist Debra. We are also well down the path of finalising the contract with Futures Tennis Academy. This will bring certainty to both groups.
