September ENews No Images? Click here Hi everyone, As I’m certain it did for many, Patricia Piccinini’s suggestion at NAVA’s Future/Forward event in Canberra that “you don’t enter the arts world: you build it out of the people around you,” rang true for me. It implies that we can build our own arts world, as opposed to seeking permission to enter the one “art world” to rule them all. Each of us is responsible for how our “art worlds” are created, and in turn how they might intersect with one another. This task of building bridges between worlds has been a guiding focus for Artlands Victoria. The full program is now available online; I encourage you to explore it and find your own way in to this critical national conversation. You can also check out our 2019 Arts & Education program, alongside registrations for the annual Home is Where the Hall is initiative. All that and more in this month’s ENews: from our world to yours (and back ‘round again).
