Nestled high above the treetops of the North Georgia mountains, overlooking the Doris Zaban Chapel and Lake Wendy, Jen's Zen Den is a place for campers and staff to escape to for unique programming and peaceful, zen moments. The creation of Jen’s Zen Den would not have been possible without the many people who provided generous donations, as well as the wonderful committee – Cara & Peter Abramson, Marla Arbiv, Matt Berke, Eddie & Susan (LeVine) Berger, Ronnie Goldman, Joe Hirsch, Susan Lalli, Darren & BiBi LeVine, Andrea (Lippman) Loeb, Kim Rich, Cindy (Burman) Schneider, Randi Steuer, Jill (Slovin) Ullman, Lisa (Cogan) Whitman – who all loved Jenny LeVine Helfman and knew how much Camp Barney Medintz meant to her. CBM was Jenny’s favorite happy place and such an important part of her life, sharing it with her sister, brother, lifelong friends, children, nieces, nephew, and cousins. The dedication of Jen’s Zen Den was true to Jenny’s spirit. Taking place on Mother’s Day 2019, it was filled with love, fond and fun stories about Jenny, and a beautiful butterfly release in her honor. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to Jen’s Zen Den. Our entire CBM community will enjoy it for many years to come – it truly is spectacular, just like Jenny! “If there ever comes a day that we can't be together, keep me in your heart and I’ll stay there forever” - Winnie the Pooh PLEASE NOTE: New start dates for first and second session, and all second session options start on a Monday and end on a Friday.
