This month, we celebrate the first anniversary of PHIVE! The iconic building was shortlisted for IFLA best library building of the year. We appreciate the amazing support of our community over the past year and hope you'll join in the festivities to celebrate our special day. September also marks Health Month with a Spring into Health campaign. To celebrate, we will be offering a range of programs and resources to encourage physical and mental well-being. Whether it's a program with Sydney
Thunder, VR fitness, information sessions on breastfeeding or immunisation, or hearing checks, we're here to provide opportunities and support. For any school-aged children, September brings the start of the school holidays! We've got plenty of fun (and free!) school holiday activities lined up to keep kids entertained during their break, including table tennis, craft, a magic show, science events, and more. is Labour Day. On this public holiday, Parramatta Library at PHIVE will be open from 9am to 5pm. All other library locations will be closed and will re-open on Tuesday 3 October. Happy Reading!

Spring into HealthDuring September, in partnership with Western Sydney Local Health District, we celebrate Health Month with a range of activities and information sessions to help you and your family become healthier. We will have sessions to guide your understanding of breastfeeding, immunisation, diabetes, stroke, healthy eating, and more. You can also attend a VR fitness activity, have your hearing checked, or bring your kids to a Sydney Thunder event. For more information check out our Spring into Health month page

activities will open on Monday 11 September at 9am. We have a range of free activities that cover VR, craft, science, magic, and lots more!
IDEAS LabThe IDEAS Lab (formally known as Studio 101) is a creative library space where you can 'Imagine, Discover, Engage, Act & Succeed'. This space is located at Parramatta Library at PHIVE for you to experience virtual reality, 3D printing, STEM, sewing and much more.
