Reporting a Road Hazard or Flood For issues or floods on local roads and streets within the Strathfield LGA, contact Council Customer Service 9748 9999 with details of the location. To report issues on Parramatta Road, Homebush Road and The Boulevarde please contact Roads and Maritime Services. Back to School Zones School zones are back in effect from Monday 22 July to Friday 27 September 2019! Remember to slow down to 40km/hr between the hours of 8am – 9:30am and 2:30pm – 4pm. Increased penalties apply for school zone offences. Traffic Changes – St Patrick’s College There is a proposal before Council to remove the Right of Way through St Patrick’s College. Council requests your feedback before Friday 29 August. Food Safety Workshop Do you own a local café or restaurant? Join Council’s Food Safety Workshop and learn the dos and don’ts of safe food practice. When: Monday 5 August 2019 Smoking Prohibited in Strathfield CBD To promote healthy lifestyles and a beautiful Strathfield, smoking in Strathfield CBD is prohibited. Penalties include $110 for smoking in Strathfield Square and $80 for littering cigarette butts. Help us keep our community a beautiful and healthy place for others and the environment.
