Making Tax Digital (MTD)
With Making Tax Digital for VAT now underway we wish to make sure that all our affected clients are ready for the next milestone.
Where Ward Williams assist with filing a business VAT return we will be liaising or arranging with that business to ensure that it is signed up at HMRC for MTD at the appropriate time. For other businesses then the sign up is at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/sign-up-for-making-tax-digital-for-vat. It can take up to 72 hours for HMRC to sign the business up.
